Dose Modification: Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Neutropenia may impact chemotherapy delivery in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). In the curative setting, patients with NHL may experience dose delays and dose reductions. In fact, a study of NHL patients being treated with chemotherapy found that nearly a quarter of patients in the study experienced dose delays of ≥7 days. In the same study, 40% of patients experienced dose reductions of ≥15%.1
Neutropenia (both grade 3-4 and febrile) was the most frequent cause of chemotherapy dose delays and dose reductions.2
